School!

Oh.my.heart.

And just like that,

summer is behind us. 

Our girl started school last week! 

She is four, and technically

Pre-K age, but she'll be going to Kindergarten
at a home school academy this year.
She goes two days per week,

and this sweet teacher and I are "co-teachers". 

As of right now, we'll count this as Pre-K, and just be glad for

her to have the opportunity to be in a little class of 7 kids

doing work that will grow her, but still be at home for play and

field trips!  Our main goal is that she be loved on, and we think that we might just have that covered.  She'll have a classroom teacher,
Spanish, science and history teachers, who seem excited and loving.
Can't wait to dive on in with these sweet women. 

For a full week before the big day, she played school 678 times with her new backpack.  On the morning of the big day, she was a bit nervous,

but extra brave.  Day one was a big success.  So proud!

Big days like these must be celebrated,

and Miss Mamie's cupcakes seemed fitting!
