Decision made. Our yearly corn maze tradition has been moved to evening. Every year coordinating dates is oh so complicated with busy schedules, so we ended up there at night. Extra glad we did. We got there in the late afternoon, just in time to do some pillow jumping
and pumpkin admiring.
When bellies started growling, we unfolded blankets and unzipped coolers for a picnic beside the cornfield.
It is funny how you pay admission to all these cool places and the littles end up having the most fun in an open field.
The stolen corn may have something to do with it.
This year was extra special.
Nighttime romping through the maize maze proved to be incredibly fun.
As always, our little one found animals to love on. Just call her the goat whisper, as she spent her evening feeding munchies to farm animals through a fence.
When she wasn't plowing through kernels, of course.
Now THAT was the stuff of memories. Our own pile of sticks to keep the fire blazing, roasting marshmallows and sipping cocoa all while telling "pooky" stories.
