Mixing, Observing and Reacting

 photo science_zpsb3b8c483.jpg
Chemistry is the focus of our hybrid science this semester, so we are doing our best to combine random substances and then watch them react.  From oil and Alka-Seltzer to dirty oxidized pennies and vinegar, we're having fun mixing things up!

Hot Dogs! Get Your Hot Dogs!

Photobucket
How could you not buy a hot dog from this persuasive face?
We were invited into school last week for a hot dog stand,
Kindergarten style!

They've been discussing responsibilities,
so each student wrote part of the menu board,
and each had a food distribution responsibility.

They had been reading Night of the Moonjellies,
which led to the hot dog stand and sweet ocean decorations.

Seeing this little class of seven proudly serve up hot dogs
made our lunch extra special.
Each little face beamed as they handed out hot dogs,
pickles, cookies and chips!

I'll buy lunch from these little girls anytime!
