Time, love, and wisdom. 

 Ms. Maria has given these gifts to Claire.

Each week, for over a year, she has come to our home

 for speech therapy sessions. 

When she knocks on the door with her big bag,

the girls squeal with excitement.   

Weaving lessons and practice into play,

she is immeasurably good at her work.

With great skill, she teaches Claire

and she teaches
us how to work with Claire. 

We are going to take this month to show gratitude.

This helper and friend who has invested in us
despite how we have neglected to demonstrate how grateful we are.   

Time to start writing cards, baking muffins and painting pictures.
