Annual Clubbin'

 photo DSC_0280_zps71dce5ac.jpg
Our clubbin' continues in 2013!  We've been hosting our supper club's summer kickoff for 13 years.  Yep, 13.  Supper clubbers are some of our favorite peeps.  Now, familiar dishes are requested, and conversations  filled with stories retold that grown bigger by the year.  The littles are taller and crazier.  This party was filled with lots of laughs, shuffle boarding, trampolining and lots of laughs.

The BFFs hung tight the whole night, always together munching and

and performing.

Our fun time together ended with the thrill of exploding soda.

Holly Jolly Christmas

Our supper club has been getting holly jolly at our place every Christmas since 2000.  We've had some seriously good eats, some crazy kid chaos, and some H.A.L.I.R.I.O.U.S white elephant gift exchanges!

Many thanks, supper clubbers, for 10 years of monthly good times.
We can't wait for some fun in 2011.

Supper Clubbing, Tailgate Style

Our supper club has been clubbing for over ten years.  When we are feeling creative, we have themes.  We've had Greek, Italian, and Mexican.  We've done breakfasts, chili suppers, and soup nights.  Last weekend we tailgated.  Ribs, burgers, dogs, buffalo chicken dip, potato skins and lots of chips (...even a little "sweet tart").  It was a night of some seriously good and comforting eats.

Sophs and Ceci enjoyed some veggies and dip.
Everyone dressed in team colors.  Even the littlest littles.
Claire thought the night was great fun.  She loves a roomful of kids, and apparently also loves BBQ potato skins.  Oh yes she did!
Jen and Mike outfitted most of the gang with Steelers jerseys.
With our bellies full, we settled in for a night of corn toss, digging in dirt, blowing bubbles,  and just general fun.  Sophia ended the night hanging with Angela and Patti.  They showed her pics of their dogs.  She informed them that we would be getting a dog as soon as she is old enough.  (What, what?  Momma doesn't think so.)

Thanks to Jen and Mike for hosting!
