Dear Lake,

We've been a part for a while, and I've missed you. 
Thanks for welcoming us back like an old pal.  

It only takes a couple of minutes of gazing at you
to feel some restoration.   

Painting rocks next to you brings out our creativity,

and makes us feel like Renoir.

Paddling along on top of you is my idea of good times. 

And the girls?  Well, ya know they love ya too.

Thanks for being patient with them.

They are trying to fill you up, 

one rock at a time. 

I don't think you mind one bit.

Someday soon I am going to kayak on you.  That's a promise.
