Goodnight Moon

She's always been fascinated with the moon.
Looking for it through windows on late night drives.
Running into the driveway long after bedtime to find it,
and then squeal with delight.
Peaking through her nighttime blinds to point it out.

We've been reading about it by day,
and now she sleeps with it by night.
(Thanks, Kari.  We've gratefully enjoyed it and will hestitantly return it!)

We made our own moon with white paint mixed with salt, then used a bottle cap to make craters.

And we've read, and reread these books.
Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me is one of our all time fave Eric Carle books.  (Loved these story props.)

Goodnight stars, goodnight air.
Goodnight noises everywhere.
