The Great Wall

So what do you do when your stomach is full of two extra heavy Chinese meals, it is the day after you travelled 25 hours, you only slept for four hours and your body thinks it is 1:00AM vs. 1:00 PM? You climb the Great Wall! As tired as we were, it was actually the perfect experience. The weather was in the eighties, it was sunny and clear, and there was a cool breeze.

In between huffs and puffs, we were in complete awe of this experience. Climbing the Great Wall is one of the highlights our lives. The view was spectacular!

Claire only has three more nights in her orphanage!

Brings back such wonderful memories. I'm so envious of the beautiful weather during your climb...much better than the snowy, freezing day we had. Can't wait to see Claire in your arms!!

You guys look like you are having way too much fun :) Everytime I see pictures of the Great Wall, I wish our China trip took a path in that direction :( Praying your body adjusts to the time zone quickly!

I'm so glad you had a clear and sunny day on The Wall. It is just breathtaking when you can see for miles.

Waiting (not so patiently) to see you with Claire.
