Ming Tombs

Today we officially fell in love with China. After a refreshing four hours of sleep, we ate delicious Chinese food with chopsticks, visited the Ming Tombs, climbed the Great Wall, and tasted teas at a tea house. We soaked in the sights and sounds of Beijing as we were hurled through the streets by our tour company’s driver. We are happy to report that we didn’t actually hit any pedestrians, other cars or bikes, but there were numerous near misses! We are at the end of day one, and this has been quite the adventure already.

(Sidebar from Guest blogger - this picture of Mark calls out for a funny comment, but I can't get one to mind this morning - any caption to add from our readers during this happy time in our lives?)
