The tooth fairy fluttered by for a visit.
After being loose for the entire summer,
one of Sophia's three loose teeth finally came on out.
This was quite the tooth losing experience.
First, a mysterious gap appeared between her front teeth
about 5 months ago.
Next, several teeth got loose.
We read Bears Lose Tooth and got ready for it.
A couple of months of looseness rolled by
and a new big girl tooth came on in anyway.
our girl kept asking what the tooth fairy brings.
We told her that her standard
operating procedure was a quarter or two to stuff the pig with.
We assured her that,
"She doesn't bring anything BIG."
"She doesn't bring anything BIG."
The morning after the tooth fairy stopped by,
we heard Sophia SQUEALING from her bedroom.
She said that when she "heard the tooth fairy come in",
she "opened her eyes and could only see sparkles".
Under her pillow was a pixie-dusted dollar
and a "Hello Kitty" tooth brush.
She yelled, "She DID bring something BIG!!!!"
and a "Hello Kitty" tooth brush.
She yelled, "She DID bring something BIG!!!!"
The dollar and the toothbrush remained clutched in
her hand the whole day. The toothbrush is being kept in her
her hand the whole day. The toothbrush is being kept in her
nightstand. Seriously, it IS the small stuff!
Much to her amazement,
the tooth fairy left some of her magic on the dollar.
If you ask me, that crazy fairy is pretty cool.
