On August 30, 2010,
a little gift was placed in our arms.
She was terrified, and we were too.
Though we had longed and prayed for her for five years,
we had no idea how our lives would change.
No idea how deep for her our love would be.
No idea how adoption would alter our hearts.
Today we celebrate Claire.
