Celebrating July 4th was extra special this year since
we got to celebrate at the beach with this little Chinese-American.
Though we thought the night was going to be a bust when rain started to pour, we donned some red, white and blue and headed out to be patriotic.
First stop? BBQ ribs and ice cream, baby.
Americana at its yummiest!
Thankfully, the skies cleared and we were able
to hit the beach for a fireworks extravaganza.
Armed with sparklers, glow sticks and flashlights, we watched professional level fireworks going off in every direction.
Fireworks at the beach is THE WAY to go.
We giggled, we oohed and we aahed until late into the night.
We won't soon forget celebrating
America's birthday in such a special way!
