Our 10-10-10 THREE Year Old

 Three years ago at 7:00 PM, we were blessed with the arrival of our first daughter.  We had no idea how much she would bless our lives.

(We celebrated without her daddy, who was deployed to Iraq.)

On 10-10-10, we celebrate our three year old with
ten things we love about her:

1.  She is a comedian.  She LOVES to make people laugh. 

2.  She is a dramatic story teller.  To add emphasis, her eyes get as big as saucers, she uses her little hands wildly, and then she whispers.

3.  She LOVES her new baby sister and loves to hug and kiss on her.

4.  She uses the word team to describe our family.

5.  She told a crying buddy at school that she'd feel better if she could get her "mommy to adopt a sister". 

6.  She has nicknames for everybody! ("Grams", "Jane Jane", "Paps")

7.  She grabs your face with both hands when she gives you a kiss. 

8.  She sleeps with her handmade blanket from Mamaw, a stone from Haiti, a wooden turtle from Africa, her Bible, an Ariel Barbie and a pack of stuffed animals. 

9.  She remembers EVERYTHING that we have ever done, and keeps saying, "We have to take Claire!"

10.  She points out sunsets, the moon, quiet forests, and how good it feels to feel the wind in her hair.
