How can we possiby have stood in Tiananmen Square today? Taking in China over these two fast and furious days has been fascinating. We are trying to wrap our brains around Chinese history. This country's culture beliefs and political policies are all part of Claire's story. They most likely have made a major impact on our ability to be her forever parents. Standing in the square today was such a reminder of that.
The Temple of Heaven is beautiful as well. We can't believe how much we have been able to take in in two days!

Claire, Sophia and Ebaby are/will be so lucky to have you guys as parents. Imagine how big their world will be! Glad you are soaking in the sights, smells and sounds... I'm sure you'll recount it over and over to the little ones in the years to come.

You are certainly on a whirlwind sightseeing trip! You are amazing to be able to do all that in just 2 days. I think as hard as leaving Sophia might have been, here is one positive about that decision... you are able to FULLY immerse yourself in Claire's culture and do things like this. I love seeing all the pictures ~ can't believe you'll see Claire in just a day or so!
