We have a little set of eyes watching our every move. She does what we do. It is good incentive to watch how we move!
Last week, Sophia told us that she "needed" to "make lunches for the kids". Not thinking much of it, she went about her work, and we went about ours. Later, we found that each stuffed animal in the playroom had a little baggie placed in front of it with a piece of wooden food in it. When asked about this, she said, "I made lunch for the kids. They don't have food to eat."
Well over a month later, she remembered when we made lunches for local kids in need. That, my friends, made this momma and daddy quite happy. It also challenged us.
Little eyes are watching. The size of her heart is of the utmost importance to us. Think it is time to come up with some more toddler friendly service projects. Just one made an impact, imagine what many more would do.
"God's definition of what matters is pretty straightforward. He measures our lives by how we love."
