Family & Friends-UPDATED

We enjoyed a visit with my mom & dad this past weekend. They were amazed at how much Sophia had changed! We had planned to have a Turkey Day meal. Unfortunately, Dad got sick, so they had to leave early before the big meal. We enjoyed our time with them though. (We even squeezed out another date night before they left! Thanks, parentals!) They are GREAT grandparents.
Saturday morning snuggle-fest!
On Sunday, more First Friday friends, Tymm and Laura, stopped by to meet Sophia. They brought her her first RED clothing item (Thanks, guys!)!! We were excited to spend some time with them and to catch up on their adoption news. They are adopting from both China and Ethiopia, and we couldn't be more excited for them. They are anticipating a referral for eBaby very soon!!
Update: Tymm and Laura got their referral yesterday! Yahoo!!! We are so excited for them!!

Tymm was a little nervous about holding Sophie, but she thought he is going to be a great dad!

My favorite photo is the snuggle one. Oh, I remember those sweet moments and now that mine are bigger I would love to have just one more with each of them. It flies by! SWEET!

What a great family you guys are - we enjoyed our visit and I am thankful for the "hands on" training I got while holding something as tiny and precious as Sophia.

Thanks so much for all of the words of encouragement you guys have given us!

I remember those days sleeping on the couch with a little one. Oh how time flies. You all continue to amaze me. Just think before long you will have another little being on that couch with you.
