This little beauty appeared on Love Without Boundary's Facebook page today.
A sweet volunteer who has prayed and fought for our daughter got to meet her this past weekend.
I immediately found and messaged her with a request for any more pictures that she might have.
She responded back with more pictures and a sweet message explaining her love and connection to "Jenny". We are filled with emotion that so very many people have loved our girl. God is writing quite a story with her life!
Here are some excerpts from her message...
She is such a smart girl. She was very leary of us and didn't want us to hold her and when we looked at her she would turn her head. As not to see us. But I had to give this sweet girl loves and I wasn't leaving until I won her over. So after a time I had an idea to use my phone to get her attention. I turned the camera so she could see herself. I sat next to her and showed her. Then I moved her into my lap as we looked at her picture. The nannies would ask her where's Jenny (but use her Chinese name) and she would point to herself. I gave her hugs and kisses and she was fine with that and accepted them. She did not pull away after that. When it was time to go she waved bye bye. This stole my heart. She's perfect!!!

This is how she would turn her head if we looked at her.
Jenny did smile at us when we were outside the room looking in as we were leaving.
She smiled and waved.
She smiled and waved.
Also, so you know this home is sooooo clean. The babies are soooo clean and fed very well and loved so much. I was very impressed with the love and care here. She's in great hands.
Pictures are such a gift. These images just fill our hearst, but hurt them too. Those little cheeks look fuller and healthier, but her little legs look so thin. It is hard on the heart to think of her being so leary of those who would love on her, but that is probably a really good sign. Can not wait to bring her home and watch her start to blossom.
We cherish these rare and precious details, but they also make us ache to get on a plane. So deeply grateful, Brittani!
