Falling Water

While in KY for a week,

we hit the road for a little day trip to Cumberland Falls. 

I am always amazed at the beauty that is so near to us, wherever we are, yet so rarely visited.   

The falls did not disappoint. 

A day in nature with these two 

or these two,

rarely does though. 

After a family visit to the lodge,

we hiked down to the falls. 
Standing in awe of the power of nature. 

And the silly faces? 
Well, they are always just below the surface. 

Such a fun day of family exploring.
