Special thanks to the team of folks who made our home move happen..
Mark, who worked like a crazy man moving, talking to our real estate agent and mortgage company, coordinating new home services & moving company, fixing, painting, packing, and unpacking in between work, Army and trips to Haiti, Guatemala, Savannah and DC. We hereby nominate you as the most productive man alive. YOU carried the weight of all this, and made our burden light.
Mom and Dad who came down to entertain littles, unpack dishes and toys, hang pictures, carry boxes, clean our old house, thrill little girls with new bird feeders, break down boxes,
warm our bellies with surprise Dunkin' D's hot chocolate, and
comfort our bellies with fried chicken and fabulous eats.
You made the girls feel happy and comfortable in the middle of a couple crazy days.
To our littles who ran tape from one parent to another, packed boxes, organized DVDs, ran 134 errands, played while we made phone calls, watched all kinds of movies, set-up our playroom, missed art class, dealt with distracted parents for about a month, said goodbye to neighborhood buddies, and tried hard to understand what in the world was happening.
Aunt Jen who picked up pizza/soda for movers, took Claire to school and made her lunch, babysat the girls during closing, moved van loads of stuff, helped clean our old house, listened to earfuls of moving talk, and brought chocolate.
Angela who showed up with pizza and salad and a sweet blessing for our new walls.
Super club girlfriends who christened the house with laughs and conversation, and brought plants and bottles of vino.
So many friends who called, supported and encouraged.
And to our AMAZING real estate agent, Terry Burger,
who dealt with cared for us so very, very well for a year!
So, so grateful.
