The Ps were in town,
the weather was beautiful
and a local state park was having an 1800s

A perfect storm of goodness for this
history lovin', fall crazy family, wouldn't you say?
We held our ears while a canon was fired,
scrubbed clothes with a washboard,
warmed ourselves with a fire in the cabin,
learned how to spin cotton into yarn, and made a candle.
