Sometimes a celebration is in order.
Our girl recently reached a goal we had set,
so off to the bookstore we went
(with a little stopover to try on hats).

Books and a couple hot chocolates
make for the perfect afternoon.
I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think
decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves.

Love the book rewards - and what girl doesn't like to try on some hats!
Super idea! I was always a reader growing up and am happy to see my granddaughters be readers!
