Preschool Christmas

Photobucket
A preschool Christmas performance equals pure sweetness.
Watching our little one perform hand motions to
Christmas carols and hold her "prayer hands"
during a prayer brought tears to the eyes of this momma and papa.
How far she has come, and how her life has changed!

Little foot and hand print angel sweatshirts that the kids came out in were a precious surprise!

Also performing was Ben!  He was far away from where we were sitting, but we could see his little head pop out occasionally!

The typical funny preschool performance it was.  There were sweet voices singing, noses being picked (Yep, that was our kid!), kids waving at the audience and tears being shed.
When some kiddos around her started dropping the tears, she held out for just a bit, then decided she needed some comforting!  She tried to make it to us in the audience, but landed in the lap of two teachers instead.
As you can see, she was all about the extra attention from Ms. Trish!

After serenading us, the kids headed back to the
classroom for some eats and treats.

No party is complete without a little visit to the North Pole
to see the big guy.  Thanks to Santa for the magic reindeer food!

Thank to Ms. Michelle and Ms. Trish for giving Claire such a special experience!

You've got to wonder what our sweeties were thinking sitting on Santa's lap. What special memories those Christmas programs are. I remember Madeline had her dress over her head covering her face for most of one of hers :-)

Such sweet pics of Claire and her first experience with "performing" in front of an audience. Enjoyed seeing Ben as well as Sophia. I'd say fun was had by all. Luv, Grams

Okay, now that just makes me want to cry. I swear it was just yesterday Abby was at St. Catherine's with her hand print sweatshirt! Claire is so lucky to have Miss Trish....our favorite! Claire is absolutely precious. Just wait til they get that Herbert Hall renovation done and they can have programs on the stage!!
