| We are officially on year three of full on Nativity obsession. We play Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, an angel and a donkey at least 2-3 times per day. Play usually includes a towel worn as a robe, a donkey ride, a designated star to follow and a visit from an angel. |

| Our family nativity set and this Play Mobil set are played with, returned and played with again. There are no untouchables. The play set usually goes to "quiet time" with Sophia, and this is what we find at the foot of her bed when she falls asleep. |

Claire Bear has returned this year in her role as Baby Jesus, who rests very quietly in a manger with some "cozy blankets".
We do and love Santa in our house, but don't spend much time talking about him or stuff that he might bring. We've found that if we don't make him the focus, he isn't. Set out a nativity set to play with, and watch this, and the girls' hearts are right where they should be.
