An Afternoon With Some Cornballs

Fall is prime tradition time.
Apple picking?  Check.
Pumpkin patch?  Check.
Cabin trip?  Check.
Trick or treating chili-fest?  Check.
Corn maze?  Check.

Every year we hit the maize maze with these cornballs.
It is always one of our favorite days, and this year was no exception.
The weather was primo, and the agenda was only to chill on the farm.
Conquering the corn maze might have been the goal,
but we squelched the desire to pull out the GPS and timer.
PhotobucketFor Little Bear, the day's highlight was the pony ride!

Somehow, the littles slowed down this year and actually SAW corn.
(Last year, they flew through like tractors on speed,
plundering through making their own paths.)
They filled their pockets with corn kernels and
collected armloads of ears.

After surviving finding our way out, we spent the rest of the afternoon on the jumping "pillow".  The littles jumped like wild things and the parents spent a couple hours chilling in the grass actually completing complete conversations.  The sun shone and the smiles were wide.

Our afternoon was not complete perfection, as we missed our usual maze teammates, Camp Hoffman.

Thanks to Julie and Angela for the pics!
