With Mark out of town, the girls and I headed to
the Bluegrass for an end of summer vacay.
Our agenda? Decompressing and chillaxing!

Our agenda? Decompressing and chillaxing!
We made shell and leaf soup,
got comfy on the screened porch for cartoon viewing,
and picked Madeline up from school for
playing, playing, and more playing.
We watched Madeline get her game on
(soccer AND basketball!).
So proud!
A stop at the local soda fountain/diner was a must.
Grilled cheese is cheesier when you are sitting on a spinning stool,
and ice cream is much sweeter from a tall glass cup with a long spoon.
After a tasty introduction from Mamaw,
Sophia became downright obsessed with "chew gum".
Watching the cousins be cousins was a pleasure.
Getting an everyone facing forward and smiling,
three cousin photo was an unattainable goal.

Most fun of all was soaking up some "Mams and Paps" time.

It's so great seeing you all "chillaxing" with Mamaw and Papaw. Wish I was there, especially for the "chew gum" and ice cream sundae. Love the pics. Everyone looks "chillaxed". Love Grams
Loved, Loved, Loved having you here! So blessed are we!

I think that is exactly what you all needed at the end of summer. Glad you got to hang with the parents for a week
Looks like the perfect way to end summer. Beautiful pictures.
