Grandparent World

It has taken us a full week to come down from

our week in Grandparent World. 

Better than any amusement park,

the living was just too good and too fun. 

There was boating. 

You could either snuggle with a grandparent,

throw leaves off the side into the waves,

or sit in the driver's seat

pumping the gas

and honking the horn. 

There were hours of wading in the water in boots and PJs,

throwing rocks or spraying water from soaker guns.

There was hiking,

where you were always on the hunt

for treasures, turtles or tricky foxes. 

If speed was your need,

than there were furiously fast loops

on Pap's four wheeler.
