On Saturday AM, our little Claire-Bear was christened in a super simple ceremony by a local deacon. Mark grew up Catholic, so this is an important tradition in his family. To us this was a sweet dedication and blessing.
Despite the horrible pictures, it was a very special time.
We got no pictures of Claire in her beautiful little dress, which was purchased by her God-Mother, Aunt Janie. She looked so precious though, even after the oil and water!
Thank you to everyone for making this such a special little event!

what a wonderful celebration.
Pictures are good. The video I took turned out good and I will send it a soon as I get it processed. This was a very nice, moving ceremony! The day was just super!
Beautiful! Claire looks gorgeous in her dress. I love Deacon Steve, I'm sure it was a meaningful ceremony.
Just beautiful!
Love the family picture, very nice!!!

lovely! dan and i grew up lutheran and all of our kids were baptized. it's very important to both of our families. my dad is a pastor and there actually is a biblical basis for infant baptism. it's really not a cut and dry issue either way. if our kids choose to be re-baptized some day that is a-ok with us, however we are also fine with them choosing not to be. it's up to them. :)
very sweet pics. you all look so nice! you are a gorgeous family!
What a sweet day for a sweet family. I pray God's richest blessing on her life!!! Love all your photos!!!
Blessings and love!
