Since February of this year, our family has been in whirlwind mode. A China referral, Ethiopia dossier paper chase, heavy workloads, his and hers trips to Africa, and end of the school year craziness. Now, though, we are slowing ourselves down. Shifting gears into summer mode.
Today we discovered a beautiful treasure. We visited a local garden for the first time ever, and took time to
point out flowers,

stroll,

soak in some beauty,

be in awe of nature,

feed the fish,

and discover new paths.

And you-what of your rushed and useful life?
Imagine setting it all down
-papers, plans, appointments, everything-
stroll,
soak in some beauty,
be in awe of nature,
feed the fish,
and discover new paths.
And you-what of your rushed and useful life?
Imagine setting it all down
-papers, plans, appointments, everything-
leaving only a note:
"Gone to the fields to be lovely.
Be back when I'm through with blooming."
Be back when I'm through with blooming."
