Winter Wonderland

We had so much fun with our rare and wonderful snow this past weekend! We threw on coats and hit the white stuff with all we had.

We caught it on our tongues,
made footprints,
made snow soup,
took a long, cold walk,
and made a snowman.
After our fingers, noses and toes were red, tingly and frozen, we came in for some warm cookies and hot chocolate with TONS o' marshmallows. Even though we were inside, we enjoyed the snowy view through our windows and talked about what our snowman might be doing without us outside to play with him!
The next day we did it all again!

Pictures are great with the snow in the trees and of the little one enjoying it! We have had snow on the ground for a month now and although it has been very pretty, I am ready for warmer temps. A long commute on bad roads also creates challenges.

Ah, I can scarcely remember what it is like to truly love and appreciate snow! :) (We get too much of it here in NH. I tend to not love it so much- except freshly fallen.)

Looks like a blast!!
