I just realized the other day that out of all the blogs I read regularly- the blogging friends who I feel like I know- all except you and I (and Tish, I guess) have received a referral! It's hard. I'm right there with ya- as much joy as following my dear friends journeys brings me, I'm oh so ready to move form winter to spring- how 'bout you? :)
Has it really been that long? We still have hope for Claire though. The squares for her quilt are layed out on one of our spare beds and the stitching will soon begin.
Sad, but I've honestly stopped counting, until I think about it, then I count by months to recall what month we're in. When we were waiting for our first daughter, it was at 7 months, and started increasing. By the time we adopted her, it had been 10 FULL months. That was torture then. In less than 2 months, it will be a 3 year wait for our second daughter. I hope our first daughter will only be a couple years older by the time we get our referral. The wait is the hardest on her.
