I find that the sweetest mommy moments are the simplest. My girl and I share a love for books. So, one of our favorite things to do together is to pour over a bag of new library books. This week we got a sweet book about a family farm, which led into talking about how bees make honey. When talking about honey, you just have to pull out your little honey bear to get a little taste. You then need to sniff it, squeeze it, dunk your finger into it, watch the gooey stuff drip off your finger and finally taste the sweet, sticky goodness. Many more finger dunks follow the first. It truly is the little things, isn't it? We wish you a week full of special, little moments.
Reality Check: After our sweet moment of reading and tasting, my little one attempted to put the "hat" back on the bear and spilled the whole honey bear onto our beautiful library book. We are happy to report that after much scrubbing, the book survived.

Beautiful! Love these moments! Joel climbed in my lap tonight and asked me to read one of his favorite Thai bedtime books. So blessed we mamas are!
these are the moments memories are made of.
A little piece of life to remember - kids are such a blessing
oooo what a sticky mess!
i just read the book, "Everyday Blessings: the inner work of mindful parenting" by myla and jon kabat-zinn. my disclaimer is that i don't agree with everything they say BUT most of it was incredibly inspiring. it seems like a book you might like, too.
