Toddler Heaven (NY, Part III)

While in NY, we did step away from the pizza eating a few times in order to have some local fun. Grandma suggested the local children's center, and we jumped at the chance to get some serious playing in.

The coolest room in the place was a fully stocked grocery store with carts, cash registers and all! Our little shopper went straight to work filling up her grocery cart. Clearly shopping for eats is serious business. She made her mom's heart swell when she filled up her cart with 90% fruits and veggies and 10% dairy yumminess! Mama has taught her well!
Nothing says toddler heaven like all kinds of small places to hang out.
The biggest hit of all was the bubble tube! She did this approximately 863 times, giggling each and every time.
The outdoor story garden was a big hit as well, with magical trees to climb, slides, giant's chairs and lots of play-houses!
Musical instruments are a big thing right now, so our little Mozart had lots of fun banging on drums and xylophones with Grandma. Each time she'd yell, "Watch this!"
Mark couldn't help but get his "Maverick" on when given the opportunity to sit in a fighter plane.
This children's center was a hit with the adults as well!
Hanging out in the "giant's chair"...

"We don't stop playing because we grow old;
we grow old because we stop playing."
~ George Bernard Shaw
