Puck Happy (New York, Part I)

Hockey and New York trips go together like...well...pizza and NY trips. If we are in NY, there are games to attend or at least street, driveway or basement hockey to be played. We got to spend last week up north, and had a great time.

One of our first stops was to see Mark's sister, Jen and family. When we got there, driveway hockey quickly made Mark feel right at home.
The guys looked like they were having a lot of fun, so the tiniest cousin decided to investigate what all the fuss was about.
Next thing you know, the little hockey chick and her dad started getting serious. As you can see, Jordan is realizing that it is game on.
The crowd (Jen and Courtney) started to really get into the game.
Austin and Jordan tried hard to defend themselves against the father and daughter duo.
Austin stepped up his offense.
Jordan kicked up the defense.
Nothing worked though, as the duo started to score goal after goal.
In the end, after experiencing the thrill of the puck hitting the back of the net, our little one became just as puck happy as her daddy. In the street or on the ice...bring it on!

Thanks to Jen, Courtney, Austin and Jordan for letting us step on their street hockey turf! It was fun to hang out with you.

It looks like everyone was having a wonderful time. It's always nice when the older kids allow the younger ones to get in on the fun.
