Gratitude
In honor of Thanksgiving, today I am starting to express my gratitude....a thousand times over. Every Monday, or whenever the feeling strikes, I'll be expressing gratitude for the gifts in our life. The idea comes from the hauntingly beautiful Holy Experience blog. What a lovely thing gratitude is. I think it can change us, settle us and realign our hearts. I am not always gracious, but the more I live through good times and hard times, the more grateful I become. I am more aware of grace given to me, and am trying to show grace more freely.
1. grace freely given2. an awareness of fullness3. change in seasons4. my little one's interest in scarecrows5. Thanksgiving preparations6. a beautiful hiking trail discovered in NY7. homemade soup cooking all day8. pumpkin scented candles9. a challenge that is making me better, more dependent & more obedient10. crisp leaves swirling
Happy Thanksgiving! Anyone want to join me in counting up the blessings?

What a beautiful thought. My Thanks are for:
God's grace,Family, My little granddaughters and Our great country and the men and women who have fought to keep us free.
I have posted a short list of things we are thankful for here in our house... it is something we all need to stop and do more often, thank you for the reminder!
