Memorial Weekend Fun

We celebrated Memorial Day by having our 9th annual supper club BBQ last night! With all of our supper club pals and their 14 kids over, we were too busy firing up the grill, catching-up, filling our bellies, and holding new babies to take pictures.
Sophs was psyched up before the party. She couldn't wait to see her "fwends".
We had one cute grill master.
The kids had a big time. W. frowned at the mess the kids made in the playroom.
By the end of the night, no toy was left un-played with.
If baklava equals love, than Ashley loves me A LOT. She brought this fabulous dish as a gift just for me. After a few tears popped out, I thanked her profusely. As far as "fwends" go, she is one of the best!
All of our pals are pretty darn cool. In honor of Memorial Day, we asked them to remember the military by bringing things to put in care packages for deployed soldiers. It was no surprise to us that they really stepped up. They brought games, candy, toothpaste and kids' letters. We are SO grateful that they donated so much. We are certain that these thoughtful gifts will mean a great deal.
Thanks, friends, for your gift of friendship and for a real good time!
