We are working on making some life changes or, better yet, working to become more of who we desire/were intended to be. On this blog, we desire to share our love of family, friends, life and service. Recently, we started to become involved with the Red Letters Campaign. This organization (along with Compassion International and Samaritan's Purse) really speaks to where our hearts are. Our hearts are drawn to living out the great command of God which is to LOVE-to serve and love the world's poor and orphans. That is where our hearts are, and we want to wear our hearts on our sleeve. (Far out on our sleeve so you can see them and hopefully be encouraged to share your's too!)
Tom Davis has called all RLCers to blog about an article he has written about why Christians are not doing enough to love and serve those we are called to love. It is a provocative article that hits hard. It's language is direct, but oh so true.
Read the article here.

We are doing a few of the ten now, and will continue to try to do more. Look for two RLC book reviews coming soon, as well as RLC "Blog Buzz" posts.

Thanks for sharing your hearts!
i rec'd this email...and only had time to scan the article...but sooooo good!
We are getting better as Christians, but definitely need more of Christ's love that is IN us to flow out to others... I think making us all aware is the first step and I am glad you are doing that on your blog. By the way, I purchased 2 lbs of Saint's Coffee last month :) :) ... I thought it was neat to see it as one of the RLC's recommended coffee to purchase :)
Blesssings to you for sharing your heart and what God is doing in you.
Pam
