Sometime far, far, far in the future we'll meet our little one.We passed the 19 months mark last week.
We get LOTS of questions about our China adoption, so here is a little Q & A:
Are we STILL adopting from China? Absolutely.
Do we ever feel sad, angry or upset that the wait is so absurd? Absolutely.
Do we ever doubt that it will happen? Absolutely.
Does doubt make us want to give up? Absolutely not.
Do we believe that we'll someday be emailed a photo of the face of our girl? Absolutely.
Do we wonder why we felt so called to adopt only to face an unexplainable long wait? Absolutely.
Might we be carrying canes when we FINALLY travel to China? Absolutely.
Are we happy that they'll be some time between Sophia and Claire (because"it will be easier")? Absolutely not.
Do we still believe that God's timing is much better than our own? Absolutely.
Will we wait? Absolutely.
Does Claire STILL feel like a member of the family? Absolutely.

We will be absolutely thrilled when Claire finally arrives. She has to know how much her arrival was anticipated.
I know your heart aches for your daughter. We already consider you a family of four and we are going to celebrate and rejoice when that sweet baby girl comes home!
